You have a variety of new Toyota models to choose from. These are a few models to make your decision a little easier.

Toyota Avensis: The Toyota Avensis was introduced in 1998 and is already in its 2nd generation. The latest was launched in June 2006 and can boast of an MP3/WMA/ASL-ready audio system, a new front bumper and a grille, automatic headlights, height adjustable front passenger seat, change in interior materials and cloth seats to name a few.

Toyota Camry Solara: This is a new car which has been launched in 2006. It's a 5 seater and comes in a Convertible- Coupe or a Hatchback. As of now there are 2 engine sizes. One has 4 cylinders and the fuel capacity is 2.4L and the other has 6 cylinders with a fuel capacity of 3.3L. It has a touch screen DVD navigation system and perforated leather trimmed heated seats. It also has a JBLŽ 270-watt, 3-in-1 sound system for that long drive.

Toyota Hiace: The Toyota Hiace comes as a motorhome, minibus, wagon, taxi , van or ambulance and was produced for the first time in 1967. The Hiace has come a long way with 5 generations under its belt. The latest Hiace saw the light of the day in 2004. It has made its appearance as a wide long wagon, wide super long high roof grand cabin, long van, long high roof van and a wide super long high roof van. The gear stick has been shifted to the dash board for easier maneveur in the cabin.

Toyota Hilux: The Toyota Hilux has been in the market since 1935. It is basically a very sturdy and reliable pickup truck. It is as Action Utility Vehicle (AUV) and is sold in 3 variations; Work Mate, SR & SR5. The price range starts from just $17,990. Some of the features include 4.0L WT-i V6, 3.0L EDI Turbo Diesel or 2.7L WT-i 4 cyl., pre-tensioning seat belts, double wishbone front suspension, air conditioning standard.

Toyota Prius: For those who are environment friendly or those who want to economise the fuel consumption, then this is the car for you. With the help of the latest tecnologies, the Prius runs on petrol as well as electricity. This is the 'Car of the Future'. Due to this feature there have been some rave reviews about Toyota Prius. It's priced at just $37,000 onwards. Some of the features include the following:
-4.4L / 100 km fuel economy
-Due to Continuously Variable Transmission or CVT for short, there are no changing of gears.
-It has electric power steering and also powewr windows & power mirrors.
-The Prius can be started with a push button.

Toyota Previa: The Toyota Previa is basically like a mini van with a seating capacity of 6, 7 or 8 people. It is also known as a MPV or multi-purpose vehicle. In Australia, the Toyota Prius is sold as the Toyota Tarago. There have been 3 generations of Previa in the market. The first generation Previa was in the market from 1990 to 2000. Its engine capacity was 2.4L. It was 4750 mm in length and 1803 mm in width. The first generation Previa had only one sliding door for the passengers. The second generation Previa came into the market in 2000 and is still put. However, it's longer at 4780 mm and narrower at 1790 mm than its predecessor. This one does not have sliding doors and can seat up to 6, 7 or 8 passengers. The present generation is a Hybrid Synergy Drive or HSD. This car basically has an electric drive and a CVT using electricity and transistors instead of gears.
